Our home is a nearly 100-year-old Victorian gem, full of timeless charm and unique details that tell its story. With three floors and a full basement, there’s plenty of space to enjoy. The basement, typical of homes from the early 1920s, is unfinished with an exposed foundation, concrete floors, and some storage areas. We recommend wearing shoes when accessing the basement, which also houses the washer and dryer. As with many historic homes, you’ll find character in its original features, including some uneven floors, narrow winding stairs, and lower ceilings in a few spots. While there is no central air conditioning, we’ve equipped all main living areas and bedrooms with window units to ensure a cool and comfortable stay. The home also features forced heat, providing cozy warmth during the cooler months. We hope you’ll embrace the distinctive features of this beautiful home as part of its charm, offering a blend of modern comforts and vintage elegance for a truly special experience!

We had a great time at Tara and Jeff's place! The 3 story house was charming and had some lovely Victorian touches throughout the house. There was more than enough room for me and my extended family, and also a couple other family members that visited during the day. The game room on the 3rd floor was a huge hit with the kiddos. They loved the ping pong table, air hockey and the giant Connect Four game. The kitchen was big enough for cooking dinner for the 11 people we had during the day, and the connected dining room and living room was very convenient for us to spread out and not feel crowded. The 2nd floor master bedroom was big and had been updated. The other bedrooms were also nice, a few more updates would have made them better. There was also a bedroom with connected bathroom on the main floor, which served our needs quite well since we had someone in the family with limited mobility and couldn't do the stairs much. Overall we really enjoyed our time here and I would stay again!

Tara and Jeff were very kind and flexible throughout our stay. They answered questions ahead of time, and even on a holiday! The house is huge and beautiful with a spacious kitchen and plenty of comfortable rooms. The play room was a blast and I loved that it was within walking distance of the Aquarium and the falls. The gas station across the street was also very convenient for a walkable booze run. It felt very safe, clean, and beautiful to boot. I would definitely stay here again and it felt very worth the value.
